What
about security?
We respect your privacy and have taken all necessary
steps to ensure that your privacy is protected as you
order from our web site. We have a firm commitment to
ensuring that others do not intercept the private information
that you provide to us on our site. We have instituted
the most advanced security measures available on the
Internet to protect your privacy.
This site has security measures in place to protect
against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information
that is given to us by our customers. We have an SSL
(Secure Sockets Layer) connection to the area where
we ask you for such necessary information as name, address,
credit card number, etc. SSL is fully supported by Microsoft
Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator
Can you print jobs
that are different sizes than you have listed?
Yes we can! Use a paper bigger than your job and we
will trim it to size. If you need a special paper or
have special requirements like foil or embossing we
can do that too! We are a full commercial printer that
can handle almost any job. For more custom order information
go to the Custom Quote tab on the home page or at the
bottom of any page.
How do I order multiple
items?
Please place a separate order for each piece you want
printed. For example, if you want 2 different 8.5x11
brochures, then place 2 separate orders. The price for
5,000 of one brochure is not the same as the price for
2,500 each of 2 different brochures.
What kind of paper
do you use? >>back
to top
We use several different papers, depending on what you
are ordering. The individual pricing pages show all
of the standard options. We use a high quality sheet
for all orders. Let us know if you need a different
paper and we can give you the new cost.
How close will the
color match on my printing job to what I see on my color
monitor?
Because of the differences in monitor calibration no
one can guarantee a match. If you need a precise color
match then use the option for a digital proof. This
is a proof directly from the file and the color match
is very accurate.
Will you match an
inkjet proof from my printer, or a previously printed
sample from another printer?
Inkjet and laser prints are known to look substantially
different than offset printing. We offer quick turnaround
and low prices by printing to a "pleasing color"
standard, using standard ink densities. There is no
guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed
sample. This is due to the varying results from different
output devices including inkjet printers, continuous
tone proofing devices, film-based proofs. The final
product we deliver to you is not likely to match the
output from your output device but it will look more
professional!
How do I place an order and have someone else upload
or PDF print my files separately?
Use the ordering pages and select the "I will have
someone else use upload my files" option. At the
end of your order, you can forward via email the uploading
instructions to the proper person. You can go anytime
to the File Upload tab to review your options and forward
instructions.
How long does it take
for me to get the proof ? >>back
to top
If you use our Desktop PDF
print driver it will only take a minute or two before
you have a proof for your approval. If you send
your native electronic files you should get your online
proof within 1-2 business days. There are many advantages
to using our Desktop
PDF print driver.
How long will it take to get my order delivered to me?
Most jobs will be shipped within 4-7 business days from
proof approval. Check each category for specific timelines.
Shipping by UPS takes from 1 to 5 business days most
of the time depending on your location.
Can I get my
order delivered quicker?
Yes, just select the faster production time when you
place your order.
Special Shipping
Services
Our shipping prices are valid within the continental
United States. For Alaska and Hawaii, please order using
2nd Day Air service. We are also happy to ship to you
anywhere around the world. Please provide us the exact
shipping address (street address if available), along
with the quantity and product type you want to order,
and we will let you know the additional shipping costs.
Please note that some services are not available to
all countries.
Will I receive
the exact quantity I order?
Most of the time you will receive a few extra, free
of charge. On occasion, we ship slightly fewer pieces
than you ordered. Printing trade standards allow for
underages or overages of up to 5% so if you plan to
send your order to a mailing house or need an exact
quantity then we recommend that you order 10% over the
quantity you need.
What if I want
to change something on my order after I've approved
the proof? >>back
to top
Call or email us as soon as possible and we will do
our best to accommodate your change. Please note that
some changes cannot be made after certain production
stages have passed such as, the quantity or type changes
or paper type cannot be changed once your job has been
printed. Click on Contact Us at the bottom of any page.
What file formats can you take?
We can take any Mac or PC version of Quark, Pagemaker,
InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, Publisher,
Word, PowerPoint and any file output as a PDF. You
can save time and money and use our Desktop PDF print
driver which allows you to generate a print ready file
from almost ANY digital file right from your computer.
No more problems with font conflicts or word wrapping.
How it
Works
What types
of storage media do you accept?
We can take your files on a CD, DVD, Zip or Jazz disk.
How many up should I have my business card or post card
and should I set a bleed?
Send us a single layout 1 up of your file. We will handle
the layout and any imposition needed on our end. Yes,
please set any bleed on your files to extend past the
finish trim by 1/8".
What is the
best setting for my digital camera when taking pictures
for printing?
Always use a high resolution setting for best results.
Images should be at 300 dpi in their final size in your
layout. Remember, when you bring an image into your
layout, you can shrink it down in size but you are limited
as to how far you can increase it in size. Example:
if you have an image that is 2X2 at 300 dpi and increase
its size in the layout to 4X4, the new resolution is
150 dpi. Remember to change the color space from RGB
to CMYK. It is always better for you to change the color
space than for us to do it. Not all colors that you
can see that are created by elements of light (RGB)
can be created by the elements of ink (CMYK) on press.
If you do not have this capability with your software,
do not worry about it. We will change it for you!
