A Calendar For 2016

Do you have your 2016 calendar for the upcoming year yet?  USA Printing Online is currently offering digital calendars 30% off from now through the end of this year.  Won’t it be nice to start the upcoming year with an empty calendar?  At least for a day or two after the new year, ha ha.   Believe me, I know the feeling…I love weekends when I do not have any plans at all.  But they are very few and far between any more.    So calendars are pretty darn important these days, in the day of over committing and double booking they are the only way we can keep our schedules somewhat manageable.

We offer several templates to make the process easy for you.  This way all you have to do is upload your images and submit a list of any additional holidays, birthdays, etc that  you would like on your personalized calendar.

Why as adults are we so obsessed with time, or the lack there of?  I can think of a dozen songs off the top of my head that deal with time right now, can you?  Go!

Mine are…

“Time is on My Side” – Rolling Stones

“Time After Time” – Cyndi Lauper

“Time in a Bottle” – Jim Croce

“Time” – Pink Floyd

“Time Has Come Today” – The Chamber Brothers

“Time” – Pink Floyd

“Landslide” – Fleetwood Mac

“My Back Pages” – Byrds

“(Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay” –  Otis Redding

“Slow Cruel Hands of Time” – Band of Horses

“Funny How Time Slips Away” – B.B. King (this is my favorite version)

“Older” – Band of Horses

I was doing a little research on the origin of calendars for this post last week.  I do not think I even knew that there was anything other than the Gregorian calendar, especially not being raised in the Episcopal Church.  I had heard of the Mayan Calendar and such, but never really paid much attention to the fact that there were any calendars other than the Gregorian.  I found an interesting link on this, check it out.

Until next time,
